Information for speakers
Speakers must bring their presentations on their own laptop computer, have it powered on and ready to connect to the LCD projector.
Both PC-style VGA and HDMI connections to the projector will be supplied. For not standard connections, in particular Mac OS users, must make sure that they have the correct adaptor plug and that video “mirroring” is activated.
In the lecture hall, there will be a multi-port switchbox so that speakers can connect their laptop before the session. Each speaker is responsible for promptly connecting to the projector and switching to the correct input port. Speakers are asked to test their laptop connection and screen resolution settings in the speakers practice room (or in the lecture hall prior to the start of the session).
There will be no technical support provided for speakers’ equipment. Speakers should bring a copy of their presentation on a USB pendrive as a back-up (just in case of laptop failure). However, session timing must be followed and no additional presentation time will be offered in the case of technical difficulties.
Speakers may use the speakers practice room located on the second floor of the U-2 building to practice their presentations prior to their sessions (with the provided LCD projector and screen). This room will be opened for speakers to use from Monday till Thursday, at 8:00 until 19:00.
Information about posters
There are two poster sessions scheduled for the conference:
Tuesday, 14 July 2015, at 16:30-18:00, poster session A

The award consists of a 200 EUR cash prize and a award certificate.
